Lance Wallnau

Lance Wallnau is an American evangelical preacher, televangelist, and one of the principal contemporary popularizers of the Seven Mountain Mandate framework. Based in Dallas, Texas, he is associated with the New Apostolic Reformation (NAR) network. In 2001 C. Peter Wagner invited him to teach the seven-mountain concept to the International Coalition of Apostolic Leaders. Invading Babylon: The 7 Mountain Mandate (2013, with Bill Johnson) brought the framework to substantial public attention. From 2015 forward, Wallnau articulated Trump as a modern-day Cyrus (Isaiah 45) prophesied for the 2016 presidency; God's Chaos Candidate (2016) and subsequent material developed the framework. The 2024 "Courage Tour" — visiting 19 bellwether counties across 9 states — explicitly merged prophetic-charismatic ministry with political-electoral mobilization. Wallnau co-leads the Lance Learning Group and is networked with the broader NAR and apostolic-prophetic stream. He is widely regarded among critics as a principal architect of the contemporary Christian-nationalist / dominionist political-religious movement; his defenders argue the framework is biblical kingdom-mandate framework rather than theocratic-imposition.
