Isaiah 11:1

Tree language turns messianic: a rod from the stem of Jesse, a Branch from his roots; Isaiah 53:2 — 'a root out of a dry ground.'

1And there shall come forth a shoot out of the stock of Jesse, and a branch out of his roots shall bear fruit.
